Maintain an effective flea control program for your pets with preventative treatment every month.  Fleas can be a problem for any healthy pet. Animals can be highly sensitive to these parasites and they can easily spread to your pet's immediate environment - your home. Non-prescription products are rarely effective enough, so consult your veterinarian about a bespoke treatment for your pet. Most clinics require that the pet be registered at the clinic before dispensing worming treatments; the pet also needs to have been seen within the last year to ensure that the pet's weight has been taken into account.
